NCR (National Capital Region) Mayors are planning to put NCR under GCQ (General Community Quarantine) until Dec 31, 2020.
Jojo Garcia, the Metro Manila Development Authority General Manager, said that it was discussed and agreed upon with 17 local chief executives and several members from IATF Inter-Agency Task Force.
Secretary Ramon Lopez of the Trade and Industry concurred that keeping the NCR in GCQ is the most secure approach to open the economy while following the new normal guidelines from IATF.
The proposal was introduced to President Duterte by the IATF and was suggested from the Mayors of Metro Manila.
Beside the above mentioned, for individuals aged under 18 years old and age bracket 65 and older to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel.
In the coming days until Christmas, Metro Manila urban communities and regions, aside from Navotas, are additionally set to have curfew from 12 AM – 4 AM.

Coron’s Municipal tourism has announced that local residents can participate in the tourism activities starting on October 26, 2020.
While those originating from the Calamian Island gathering will be allowed to enter the zone beginning November 16. The conditional returning date for vacationers cross country is on December 1.
"We're waiting for the endorsement from the local IATF. When affirmed, we need to plan for the air terminal. We need to meet with the aircraft [companies], and obviously the business foundations," Mayor Mario Reyes Jr. said.
No rules were declared at this point.
